Brogan was the first born of the B litter. He is a huge boy – the biggest wolfhound I have ever owned. He is a very sweet and gentle soul and just goes with the flow of any situation. His name is an Irish word that means “little shoe.” Brogan has a fan club at all of our education events because of his size and demeanor. Despite his size, he really is athlete.
Brogan was diagnosed with a-fib at the age of 4 and was medically managed until the summer of 2024 when he slipped into heart failure with DCM. Additional meds helped for just a short time, but even trying to go on a walk became too much for his weak heart and body. I let him go in September 2024.
